The MeikoVet small animal practice in Hinwil specializes in internal medicine and ultrasound and offers you and your pets professional and compassionate care. Our expertise enables us to make precise diagnoses and develop individually tailored treatment plans. Whether it’s preventive measures, diagnostic examinations or specialized therapies – your pet is in the best hands with us.

Of course, we offer a variety of other services, including general consultations, comprehensive advice on all aspects of your pet’s health, as well as specialized laboratory and diagnostic services. We also provide dental treatment for animals, as good dental health is crucial for your pet’s well-being.

In 2022, we comprehensively modernized and expanded our small animal practice. With new consulting rooms and a new professional surgery area, we now offer even better facilities to meet the needs of your pets.

The small animal practice at Bachtel was established in 2010 by Muriel Dolder and Nicole Bertschinger and was taken over by MeikoVet in 2019.

We welcome patients from all over eastern Switzerland and are a popular point of contact for pet owners from Hinwil, but also from the surrounding regions such as Wernetshausen, Girenbad near Hinwil, Wetzikon, Bubikon, Dürnten, Grüningen, Ottikon and Gossau.

You cannot keep your appointment?
In this case, we ask you to notify us at least 24 hours in advance, for surgery appointments at least 48 hours, so that the reserved time does not have to be charged. Thank you very much.

Please note our changed opening hours over the holidays:
On December 24th, our practice is open until 12 noon, and on December 31st until 4 p.m.

10% discount on a senior check for dogs and cats

The senior check-up includes:

Thorough general examination
Analysis of various blood values, hormone levels, and biomarkers
If required: urinalysis
Detailed discussion of the results

Our team at the MeikoVet small animal practice in Hinwil

Our veterinary practice in Hinwil is managed by Dr. Cindy Zimmer, an experienced specialist in internal medicine and ultrasound. Dr. med. vet. Lara Heimgartner, who also runs the emergency service, is the deputy. The team is complemented on the veterinary side by Dr. Sibylle Ganz and Dr. Uli Beduhn, who is mainly involved in surgery. Together with our veterinary practice assistants, including Shania Schätti with internationally recognized intensive training in veterinary anaesthesia and Anja Wiedmer as a veterinary dental assistant, we provide comprehensive and caring care for your animals.
