They became veterinarians because they love working on and with animals and interacting with clients. The administrative activities and entrepreneurial pressures that come with running a practice are a burden you want to be free of without leaving your familiar work environment. Veterinarian Small Animal Medicine (20-60%) in St. Gallen

To strengthen our great team in Wohlen, we are looking for YOU with immediate effect or by arrangement as:

Veterinary practice assistant

You can expect a friendly team of 6 people, some of whom are supported by external specialists. Thanks to the wide range of diagnostics and therapies on offer, you will experience a very varied day in the practice!

Your tasks include:

Consultation assistance
Competent customer service, including at reception and on the phone
Assistance with X-ray and laboratory work
Assistance during surgical procedures and post-op
Care of inpatients

In terms of workload, we are looking for someone full-time(80-100%).

Additional skills (apprentice supervisor, VAT or dental treatment) are a plus, but we also welcome colleagues with little experience who want to develop. We are also willing to support our employees in their further training.

Good teamwork and mutual support are very important to us. We are a committed, young team in a lively practice, consisting of two small animal veterinarians, an attending surgeon and three (hopefully soon four) TPAs. We have a large, very loyal customer base and are able to serve them in the best possible way because we are well organized internally and work quickly.

The place of work is our MeikoVet small animal practice in Frauenfeld. The practice was newly built in 2017 and offers state-of-the-art infrastructure and diagnostic facilities (digital X-ray, ultrasound, etc.). The practice is under the direction of an experienced and accomplished veterinarian.

Our aim is to offer our customers a wide range of services at a high level, but in a personal and caring environment.

MeikoVet currently comprises nine locations and continues to grow steadily. The Group combines the advantages of centralized management with a high degree of autonomy for local sites. Most of the administrative tasks are handled by the central administration, so that you as a veterinarian can concentrate on veterinary medicine on site and dealing with patients and clients. Also through the exchange between our veterinarians and access to experienced specialists, our veterinarians practice veterinary medicine at the highest level for the benefit of the animals and our customers!

Tiermedizinische/r Praxisassistent/in

Die gute Zusammenarbeit im Team und die gegenseitige Unterstützung sind uns sehr wichtig. Wir sind ein engagiertes Team in einer lebhaften und wachsenden Praxis, bestehend aus zwei Kleintierärzten, einem Belegarzt für Chirurgie, zwei TPAs und einem Lehrling.

Zu Deinen Aufgaben in unserer Praxis gehören:

Sprechstundenassistenz
Kompetente Kundenbetreuung u.a. am Empfang und am Telefon
Mithilfe bei Röntgen und Laborarbeiten
Assistenz bei chirurgischen Eingriffen und post-OP
Betreuung von stationären Patienten

Bzgl. Pensum suchen wir jemanden Vollzeit (50-100%).

To complement our team consisting of 2 veterinarians and 2 experienced TPAs! The practice is growing and was converted this summer. so you can expect an exciting and very varied day in the office.

It is very important to us that you enjoy your job and are also prepared to take on/share responsibility for an area (e.g. dental hygiene, anesthesia monitoring, care of inpatients). Are you passionate about a particular area and interested in further training? Then you are just as welcome as if you already have experience. We value potential and curiosity as much as experience and support you in your personal development. Accordingly, we are also open to career changers, e.g. from human medicine, who want to gain a long-term foothold in veterinary medicine.

Your tasks include:

Support with stabilization and treatment of emergency patients and subsequent care of inpatients
Anesthesia monitoring and post-operative patient monitoring
Assistance with X-rays, ultrasound examinations and laboratory work
Competent customer service, including at reception and on the phone
Support and independent tartar removal for dogs and cats
Consultation assistance

There is the possibility of taking on a managerial role within the practice
