Practice succession

Trust forms the basis for the customer relationship in veterinary medicine. To succeed in this business and create a workplace where customer relationships can thrive, we foster a climate of trust and respect, including among our employees. This is also felt by those veterinarians who entrust us with their practice as part of a succession plan.

The succession process is as individual as the personality who built a practice. We will find out together with you if and how a takeover of your practice by MeikoVet is possible. Together we develop a solution that is tailored to your future plans. This happens at all times in partnership and at eye level!

Among other things, this involves

  • when the right time has come to hand over your practice to new hands
  • what a transitional solution might look like (retire directly or continue working for some time)
  • How and when to involve employees in the succession process
  • What the financial implications of a sale are for you
  • Succession process
  • are to be integrated
  • What the financial implications of a sale are for you

They became veterinarians because they love working on and with animals and interacting with clients. The administrative activities and entrepreneurial pressures that come with running a practice are a burden you want to be free of without leaving your familiar work environment. Together we will develop a model in which you can be a veterinarian again, we will take care of the rest!

Among other things, this involves

  • How your role changes after a sale
  • what this means for your income (regular salary, if reasonable and desired profit sharing)
  • what securities we can offer you for the future

Are you employed in a larger clinic and want to get back to a more personal environment and closer to clients? You would like to take on leadership tasks, but this is not (sufficiently) possible in your current work environment? Become the site manager of a MeikoVet practice and build your own team. Together we will find a setup for you in which you can develop to your full potential.

Among other things, this involves

  • whether we build a new site together or take over an existing one
  • What your role will be in the future and what your responsibilities will be
  • how an entrepreneurial component can look like (profit sharing in addition to fixed salary, etc.)
