The MeikoVet small animal practice in Lyssach is a modern, generously designed small animal practice that was opened in 2017 as a new building and as part of the animal competence center with Meiko pet supplies. With our state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated team, we offer first-class veterinary care for your pets.

In our practice, under the direction of Dr. med. vet. Carmen Meichtry, we offer a wide range of general veterinary services. These include general consultations, including preventive check-ups, vaccinations and routine examinations. In addition to general and orthopaedic surgery, we now also offer laparoscopic castration for female dogs at our veterinary practice. Thanks to our expertise in the pet sector, we are also able to provide advice and assistance with questions and concerns about rabbits and guinea pigs. We provide information on vaccinations for rabbits and also carry out castrations on female rabbits.

We also offer home visits within a radius of up to 20 minutes (by car). Be it for vaccination and chipping (also for breeders) or for the last journey of an animal (euthanasia) in the familiar surroundings at home.

Our practice is not only appreciated by pet owners from Lyssach, but also from the surrounding regions such as Burgdorf, Kirchberg, Fraubrunnen, Aefligen, Ersigen, Hindelbank, Jegenstorf as well as Bätterkinden, Gerlafingen, Wynigen, Krauchtal and many other places. In this case, we ask you to notify us at least 24 hours in advance, for surgery appointments at least 48 hours, so that the reserved time does not have to be charged. Thank you very much.

The MeikoVet small animal practice in Lyssach is managed by Dr. Carmen Meichtry, who uses her specialist knowledge and many years of experience to ensure that your animals receive the best possible care. She is actively supported by Dr. Livia Reich, who specializes in pet mammals, and Dr. Monika Lackova, as well as Dr. Matt Matiasovic, an attending surgeon, and a competent team of veterinary practice assistants. Together we look after the well-being of your animals with a great deal of empathy and commitment.
