The workplace is our MeikoVet small animal practice in Frauenfeld, currently with two veterinarians, three TPAs and two apprentices. The practice is well-established and enjoys healthy growth, characterized by a family atmosphere. We are particularly proud of our dedicated and strong team. Our aim is to offer our customers a wide range of services, but in a personal and loving environment. To complement our team, we are looking for a Senior Veterinary Practice Assistant who will manage the practice together with the Senior Veterinarian. You will be able to take on responsibility and actively shape the development of the practice.
In these areas you will be able to take on responsibility:
- Co-management of the practice together with the senior veterinarian, thus steering the economic success
- Personnel management of the Veterinary Practice Assistants
- Practice management including definition of responsibilities within the team and optimization of processes
- Consultation assistance and customer service
- Anesthesia monitoring and post-operative patient care
- Assistance with ultrasound examinations and laboratory work
- Dental scaling for dogs and cats – if desired
This profile makes you the ideal candidate:
- You already have experience as a Senior Veterinary Practice Assistant or are interested in developing yourself in this position
- You are an organizational talent, resilient and find pragmatic solutions
- You are also reliable, loyal and like to lead by example
- Service orientation, enjoyment of working with our four-legged patients and their owners, as well as team cohesion are your top priorities
- Further education in the field of practice management is a plus, but not a must
