This webinar provides veterinary support staff with a practical overview of relevant gastrointestinal emergencies as well as nursing measures that are central to everyday clinic work. <\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"524\" data-end=\"802\">Acute conditions and injuries along the entire digestive system are covered, including foreign bodies, lesions in the oropharynx, gastric dilatation-volvulus, intestinal perforations and large bowel obstructions. Every wound goes through clearly defined healing phases, which largely determine which measures are appropriate and supportive at which time. In everyday clinic work, however, these biological processes are not always sufficiently incorporated into treatment planning.  <\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"590\" data-end=\"1109\">This webinar clearly explains how the wound-healing process works and how this knowledge can be used for sound therapeutic decisions.
